The Aeluryn Chronicles (Part I)

The following are samples from tablets of written Aeluryn (in Aelur alphabet) myths, stories, and historical records, each radiodated c.a. 74000 BCE. These amberite-coated limestone tablets were discovered by the McGill U. Pinnacle Point Paleontology Group on 07/15/31 at the Pinnacle Point paleontological cave-site, Western Cape Division, South Africa Sector, SumAfrica Consolidate, and fully translated by early 2036 before being classified under Total Secrets-Level Protocols.

For each excerpt, the numbers indicate tablet number, paragraph, and line(s). Original styles for syntax, grammar and punctuation were preserved in the translations.

From nothingness to existence, chaos to order/

The Nine Lord Creators, all things above, below: that, they dreamt.

Fire, earth, water, air, Day Orb, Night Orb, everything in the skies, Life/

Along with our world of Origin, the Nine’s Everchanging Dream: that, it created.

Before the register of events, before Unity/

Only Ungifted Peoples, upon our world of Origin: that, they walked.

The Everchanging Dream of the Lord Creators/

To one favored Ungifted tribe, fragments of their Divinities: that, it Gifted.

Fire, lightning, mind whispering, will force, healing, foreseeing, shifting, great might/
Along with thundering shout, all of these the favored tribe: that, they gained.

Then Ungifted upon Gifted—envy, fear, torment/

Our Aelur Forebearers, the Great Flight: that, they ventured.
Away from Frozen Wastes, Towering Mountains, rivers, great plains/

Our Forebearers through dangers, the threshold of Origin: that, they reached.

Hills, grasses, forests, by Endless Sea—full of life and riches/
Our joyful Forebearers in these warm lands, First City Lemaethyr: that, they found.

The Aelyr kingdom, abundance, prosperity, safety/

By Gifted prowess, blood, our Aelur Ancestors: that, they established.

Then through strife, greed, corruption, oppression, murder, enslavement/

The Nine Clans, into the Nine Houses: that, they became.

Aelur against Aelur, war, destruction, death/

The rival Nine Houses, blood, loss: that, they brought.

The Clans of Gifted Great Might, Gifted Great Shout, ill-fated calamitous battle/
Houses Maederyn, Sumaeshyr, mutual annihilation: that, they met.

5.4.1-3

Despite ruin, disease, spiteful Ungifted invaders/

The remaining Seven Houses, Six with their wars of wrath, hate: that, they continued.

The other House, Holy, never warrior, always neutral, respected by all others/

House Saekeryn, auguries to the other Six as needed for a price: that, they provided.

Then Archseer J’radin an Saekeryn—insights from the Nine’s Everchanging Dream/
An Archlord of Power, Blessed Ruler above all in Unity: that, he foresaw.

Quick Psiarch: Reckoning Update + Sad News About Psiarch: Rising Goodreads Reviews

I almost completed the second chapter of Part II of Psiarch: Reckoning (i.e. that's almost 12 chapters done total, out of a projected 30 or so). I know things are/have been progressing very slowly over these past months (for various personal/family reasons I'd rather not go into at this time), but at least they are/have been going surely nonetheless. 😔

On another subject, I found out the number of Goodreads reviews for Psiarch: Rising dropped from 16 to 13, resulting in a drop from 4.5/5 stars to 4.23/5 stars in the overall rating of the book. It is what it is, I suppose... 😕

In any event, I'm just thankful the overall ratings still remain at/above the 4/5 stars score 😅.
